ENVIROFOAM CORE:

• Envirofoam is the world’s first 100% recycled EPS foam core.

• The Content consists of EPS blank scraps collected from post consumer and post industrial EPS sources.

• The reformulation process accepts a variety of materials such as packaging material for computers, electronic equipment stereos, toys, etc.

• Instead of going to waste at a landfill, it can all be recycled into Envirofoam and reused.

THE PROCESS:

• Collected post-use EPS is put into a mulching machine that breaks down the material to smaller pieces called “re-grind.”

• Loose re-grind pieces are conveyed into a holding bag and fed down into a densifier which compresses the regrind into highly dense rectangular blocks. (20lbs pcf)

• The blocks of densified recycled EPS are then reprocessed into Envirofoam.

• Envirofoam is then remanufactured into blanks on the same equipment that makes the Virgin EPS blanks using the clean steam and compression process.

• Envirofoam material can be recycled and reprocessed into a usable blank material over and over… and over… and over,… again….
